摘要: Mucosal-associated invariant T (MAIT) cells develop in the thymus and migrate into periphery to become largest antigen-specific αβ T-cell population human immune system. However, frequency of MAIT varies widely between individuals, basis for this is unclear. While are highly conserved through evolution phenotypically similar humans mice, they represent a much smaller proportion total mice. In review, we discuss how transition three-stage development pathway both mouse thymus, continue mature expand after leave thymus. Moreover, will explore speculate on specific factors regulate different stages process.
