摘要: Abstract - The capacity of some Tunisian soils to induce nodulation on Casuarina spp. and Alnus glutinosa was investigated through survey at fields by plant-trapping bioassay. Frankia nodules were detected only in the north Tunisia experimental forest sta-tions for Casuarinaceae , natural endemic A. stands. genetic diver-sity assessed PCR-RFLP nifD-K region and, also 16S-23SrDNA internal transcribed spacers, amplified from DNA directly extracted root nod-ules. Restriction patterns showed that one two haplotypes colonise Casuar-inaceae respectively. found tobe closely related group 1 nodulating strains previously identifiedin Australia, corroborating hypothesis a recent introduction these intoTunisia, probably with their hosts.
