摘要: Rhizobia are used exclusively in agricultural and agroforestry systems for enhancing the ability of legumes to fix atmos - pheric nitrogen. Knowledge on taxonomical characteristics ecology indigenous Rhizobium population is necessary selec tion inoculant strains. In this study, we have assessed genetic diversity rhizobia from host plant, Acacia tortilis ssp. rad- diana along different areas Tunisia. Thirty-one nodules were collected both directly by trap plants. Genetic rhi- zobia strains was studied restriction fragment length polymorphism (RFLP) analysis PCR-amplified intergenic spacer (IGS) 16S rDNA. The PCR performed extracted-DNAs. approaches study yielded consistent result s, which revealed a high degree heterogeneity among detection 20 distinct groups. These related Sinorhizobium, Rhizobium, Mesorhizobium Agrobacterium genera. This first report nodulating leguminous trees
