摘要: Abstract Purpose To examine the clinicopathologic characteristics and survival outcomes of different histologic types triple-negative breast cancer (TNBC). Methods We used SEER database to identify patients with TNBC diagnosed between 2010 2014. Our analysis focused on seven most prevalent types. Differences were compared invasive carcinoma no special type (NST) other six Results Significant differences observed in age at diagnosis, tumor grade, size, nodal status treatment. As size increased, number positive lymph nodes increased markedly lobular (ILC) mixed NST (NST-ILC), while metaplastic only slightly. In multivariate analyses, NST, cancer-specific (BCSS) overall (OS) worse for those NST-ILC (BCSS: hazard ratio [HR] 1.81, P Conclusions According classification TNBC, this heterogeneous disease can be divided into several entities features prognoses. era molecular subtyping cancer, is still considerable clinical significance.
