摘要: Abstract 1. (1) Cell-free preparations obtained from thoraces and legs of T. infestans glycolyse glucose, as well HDP, with the production pyruvate α-glycerophosphate in equimolar amounts proportion 1 mole per glucose utilized. Added HDP is necessary for optimal activity, but effect its omission can be partially reversed by increasing concentration added ATP. Fluoride not required phosphorylation. 2. (2) extracts contain enzymes glycolysis. GAP dehydrogenase markedly sensitive to iodoacetate shows appreciable activity absence l -cysteine. Lactic negligible, which explains non-accumulation lactate an end-product 3. (3) The presence pentose phosphate pathway indicated several reactions this cell-free extracts; 6-PG probably G-6-P appear rate-limiting carbohydrate degradation through pathway. 4. (4) enzyme content related developmental stage insect also sex. 5. (5) In vivo topically applied DDT (300 μg specimen) inhibits glycolytic male nymph specimens after 22 hr exposure. Pyruvate restored normal 48 exposure, some degree inhibition persist specimens. This shared DDE, a non-toxic DDT-analog. 6. (6) Hexokinase, dehydrogenase, aldolase, Gly-P phosphopyruvic kinase ribolytic are inhibited exposure DDT. Phosphopentose isomerase apparently inhibited. On other hand, only aldolase
