摘要: Abstract A review is presented of recent advancements in characterization and automation how this has led to a new generation automated serial-sectioning facilities, which allowed for the analysis larger 3D datasets with thousands objects interest at high resolution. case study Robotic Serial Sectioning System (RS3D) is used analyze correlation initialization grain orientations defects within additively manufactured 316L steel. Finally, we provide brief discussion technologies including microscopy methods, machine learning, sparse sampling that could potentially reduce effort cost collecting analyzing microstructural data near future.
