摘要: Few epidemiological studies that rely on the food frequency questionnaire (FFQ) for dietary assessment have measured biomarkers of vitamin K intake to independently confirm associations between self-reported and disease risk. Associations were examined two sensitive status, plasma phylloquinone serum percent undercarboxylated osteocalcin (%ucOC), usual as estimated from a FFQ. The influence other nondietary factors concentrations was also examined. Dietary using FFQ in 369 men 468 women Framingham Offspring Study. prevalence high %ucOC (>/= 20%), suggestive low 44% 54% women, respectively. After multivariate adjustment, odds 2.5 greater (odds ratio: 2.5; 95% confidence interval [CI]: 1.2-5.1) almost three times 2.8; CI: 1.3-5.9) lowest quintile category compared highest category. Fasting triglyceride concentrations, smoking status season associated with independent intake. Phylloquinone green vegetable linearly phylloquinone, after adjustment potential confounding factors. There limitations use predict evident an observed plateau effect required Despite these caveats, findings support relative population-based studies.
