Indirect biamperometric determination of o-phenylenediamine in lab-on-valve format using reversible indicating redox system

摘要: The miniaturized lab-on-valve (LOV) manifold well hyphenated with indirect biamperometry is presented for automated determination of trace level concentrations organic environmental pollutants by programmable flow. experimental procedure was carried out means taking o-phenylenediamine (OPDA) as a model analyte, relying on the Fe(III)/Fe(II) couple that served an indicating redox system. electrochemical flow cell (EFC) designed and processed integrated into LOV module which assembled two identical polarized platinum electrodes between small potential difference (ΔE) applied, to implement on-line analysis in closed Factors affecting analytical performance are discussed, including systems, concentration system, acidity, difference, variables LOV. calibration curve showed excellent linearity range 5.0 × 10−7 1.0 10−4 mol L−1 (R2 = 0.9993). limits detection (LOD) quantitation (LOQ) OPDA were found be 1.1 3.7 L−1, respectively. A sampling frequency 40 h−1 obtained along R.S.D. 2.8% at 10−6 L−1OPDA (n 11). proposed successfully applied assay industrial waste water.
