摘要: Abstract The hsp70 level in the bodies of 1st instars grasshoppers Chorthippus brunneus from unpolluted (Pilica) and polluted (Olkusz, Szopienice) sites additionally exposed to various doses zinc during diapause embryonic development prior hatching were measured by Western blotting. main aim our work was assess relationship between age female originating variously habitat their progeny. Possible reasons for population variation levels discussed. offspring's body depended on place origin. strongest expression found larvae eggs laid young females Pilica (reference site). In contrast, a low initial sites, especially females’ progeny, observed. application influenced grasshopper larvae; however, direction changes insects’ reference site, also (but lesser degree) Olkusz, increase after treatment most pronounced. Whereas Szopienice, (in 100 μg g −1 dry weight sand) did not change level, or 500 μg g caused reduction hsp70. differences may result maternal effects; possible adaptation cannot be excluded. To confirm this statement further studies are needed.
