Nonlinear polariton excitations in quantum dot arrays

摘要: Abstract We investigate the tunneling of photons in a quasi-one-dimensional array polarizable quantum dots using Maxwell-Bloch equations. This allows first principle study nonlinear polaritons saturable, dispersive and absorptive, periodic media. The field equation for steady state generates linearized excitations which form photonic bands excitations: gap solitons. possibility manipulating gaps solitons by separately contacting is examined.
