摘要: Mutation of the tumor suppressor gene TP53 and accumulation p53 protein are common events in range cerebral astrocytic tumors, including glioblastomas, but it is uncertain whether these associated with prognosis. Evidence suggests that response various tumors to radiotherapy may be influenced by status which involved control cell cycle apoptosis. This study tests hypothesis governs survival patients (n = 62) glioblastomas who have received radiotherapy. Analysis immunohistochemistry were undertaken using standard methods. mutations present 27% while 50% p53-immunopositive (LI > 3%). A strong correlation (p 50%) presence a mutation, at level or was unrelated survival. Radiation-induced apoptosis independent p53, genetic abnormalities also cellular radiation, such as deletions pRb, possible explanations this result.
