摘要: Brucellosis is a zoonotic disease caused by certain species of Brucella. Each has its preferred host animal, though it can infect other animals too. For longer period, only six classical were recognized in the genus No vaccine available for human brucellosis. Therefore, brucellosis be controlled controlling animals. The now expanding with newly isolated atypical strains from various animals, including marine mammals. Presently, 12 Brucella have been recognized. first genome was released 2002, and today, we more than 1500 genomes spp. worldwide. Multiple sequences are major species, B. abortus, melitensis, suis. two chromosomes approximate sizes 2.1 1.2 Mbp. highly conserved across all at nucleotide level. One unanswered questions what makes preference different Here, I summarize recent advancements genomics research.
