摘要: Estrella lausannensis is a new member of the Chlamydiales order. Like other Chlamydia -related bacteria, it able to replicate in amoebae and fish cell lines. A preliminary study investigating pathogenic potential bacteria found correlation between antibody response E. pneumonia children. To further investigate , we determined its ability grow human macrophages intracellular trafficking. The replication resulted viable ; however, caused significant cytopathic effect. trafficking was analyzed by determining interaction -containing inclusions with various endocytic markers as well host organelles. inclusion escaped pathway rapidly avoiding maturation into phagolysosomes preventing both EEA-1 LAMP-1 accumulation. Compared Waddlia chondrophila another recruitment mitochondria endoplasmic reticulum minimal for . appears use distinct source nutrients energy compared members In conclusion, hypothesize that has restricted growth macrophages, due reduced capacity control programmed death.
