摘要: The spread of antibiotic-resistant bacteria through food has become a major public health concern because some important human pathogens may be transferred via the chain. Acinetobacter baumannii is one most life-threatening gram-negative pathogens; multidrug-resistant (MDR) clones A. are spreading worldwide, causing outbreaks in hospitals. However, role raw meat as reservoir remains unexplored. In this study, we describe for first time antibiotic susceptibility and fingerprint (repetitive extragenic palindromic PCR [rep-PCR] profile sequence types [STs]) strains found retailed Switzerland. Our results indicate that was present 62 (25.0%) 248 (CI 95%: 19.7 to 30.9%) samples analyzed between November 2012 May 2013, with those derived from poultry being contaminated (48.0% [CI 37.8 58.3%]). Thirty-nine were further tested clonality. Strains frequently not susceptible (intermediate and/or resistant) third- fourth-generation cephalosporins use (i.e., ceftriaxone [65%], cefotaxime [32%], ceftazidime [5%], cefepime [2.5%]). Resistance piperacillin-tazobactam, ciprofloxacin, colistin, tetracycline sporadically observed (2.5, 2.5, 5, 5%, respectively), whereas resistance carbapenems found. genetically very diverse each other belonged 29 different STs, forming 12 singletons 6 clonal complexes (CCs), which 3 new (CC277, CC360, CC347). RepPCR analysis distinguished same ST. Moreover, CC32 CC79, similar MDR isolates responsible infections. conclusion, our findings suggest represents serve vector these into both community hospital settings.
