摘要: MiRNAs are small, noncoding RNA molecules that act as posttranscriptional regulators of gene expression and function important in cancer-related processes. The miR-19a is overexpressed various cancers has been causally related to cellular proliferation growth. To determine whether plays a role laryngeal squamous cell carcinoma (LSCC), we used quantitative real time PCR detect LSCC tissues. We found correlated with neck nodal metastasis, poor differentiation advanced stage. Statistical analysis suggests higher level was associated reduced overall survival. In vitro functional study showed inhibition by antisense oligonucleotides (ASO) led apoptosis reduction cells. Furthermore, growth xenograft tumors significantly suppressed repeated injection ASO-miR-19a lentivirus. TUNEL stain transmission electron microscopy also detected increased apoptotic cells treated xenografts. addition, both realtime western blot can upregulate TIMP-2 this pathway Taken together, these data suggest an oncogenic the progression LSCC, may serve biomarker or therapeutic target for patients LSCC.
