摘要: A zone electrophoresis apparatus using ultraviolet, optics has been constructed to study nucleic acids at concentration less than 0.004%. Native DNA a mobility about 15% higher denatured over range of conditions pH and ionic strength. DNA's from different sources have closely similar mobilities. molecular weight series indicates that the is constant in 2.5 × 105 1.3 108. mobilities change expected way with but fractional charge calculated by titration curves. small decrease accompanies an increase RNA's various slightly lower except for s-RNA which travels faster.
