摘要: α-AMANITIN, a bicyclic polypeptide from the toadstool Amanita phalloides1, is known specifically to inhibit DNA-dependent RNA polymerase of mammalian cells by interaction with enzyme rather than DNA template2,3. No influence toxin on replication number or RNA-containing viruses has been found so far (ref. 4 and personal communication L. Philipson). Actinomycin, which reacts template impairs reaction, depresses multiplication influenza but does not interfere most other viruses5–7. Because mode action this antibiotic synthesis still obscure, we extended our studies α-amanitin virus group.
