摘要: The PATCHED ( PTC ) gene is recognized as a tumor suppressor in basal cell carcinoma. Mapping of minimal region deletion at 9q22.3 and observation decreased expression superficial papillary bladder tumors led us to hypothesize that it could also be involved this cancer. To further investigate hypothesis, we submitted Ptc +/− heterozygous mutant mice their wild-type littermates chemical carcinogenesis by adding N -butyl- -(4-hydroxybutyl) nitrosamine drinking water.
