摘要: An in vitro test system to quantitatively assess the chemotherapy sensitivity of human acute leukemic colony-forming cells (L-CFU) relation normal granulocytic precursor (CFU-C) has been developed. After simultaneous exposure and bone marrow individual drugs vitro, were grown using an improved agar culture method with daily feeding. A index (SI) was determined as ratio survival fraction CFU-C that L-CFU, L-CFU being more (or less) sensitive than if SI higher lower) unity. Thirty for 6 single actually given various combinations a total 9 patients (8 nonlymphocytic leukemia 1 chronic myelomonocytic leukemia). highly significant correlation observed between high low) achievement failure achieve) complete remission, only false correlations (p = 0.0013). Also, mean these (MSI) multiple each patient components combination used indicate overall trial chemotherapy. Among 10 trials (1 8 2 patient), 4 resulting remission had MSI 1.0, not lower 1.0 0.0048). This assay appears useful predicting response selection most effective use patients.
