摘要: The use of adsorbents for the treatment patients suffering from various immune diseases is still in its infancy. Therefore, development selective absorbents removal or decrease immunoproteins plasma great importance. In this study, chitosan, a natural polysaccharide having structural characteristics similar to glycosamino glycans, which non-toxic and biocompatible, has been used protein adsorption studies. Amino acids like phenyl alanine tryptophan different ratios are bonded these polymers observe immunoadsorption. Several layers have coated covalently on chitosan beads using N2-plasma, carbodiimide glutaraldehyde treatments. Scanning electron micrographs revealed surface morphological changes after such modifications. modified exhibited high binding affinity gamma-globulin compared bare beads. It also observed that amount fibrinogen reduced substrate. A IgG IgM with matrix when tested human plasma, immuno diffusion methods. membranes demonstrated reduction platelet attachment, showing substrates become more blood compatible. Hence, it appears surfaces may be an excellent sorbent system haemoperfusion due their compatibility. Further studies needed determine behaviour under clinical conditions.
