摘要: The lack of kidneys for transplantation is a worldwide problem. Different efforts to expand the donor pool have been made. One them has acceptance altruistic nondirected living kidney donors. This concept was first published by Matas et al. in 2000. Since then, several centres United States started programmes with donors (NDD) transplantation. use NDD still very controversial and rare Europe. In Sweden, an programme initiated Swedish Transplantation Society 2004. article addresses central issues involved describes our experiences so far at Sahlgrenska University Hospital Goteborg, Sweden.
