摘要: In situ hybridization (ISH) for the detection of single- or low-copy sequences, particularly large DNA fragments cloned into YAC BAC vectors, generally requires suppression "blocking" highly-repetitive DNAs. C0t-1 is enriched repetitive elements, high moderate in copy number, and can therefore be used more effectively than total genomic to prehybridize competitively hybridize elements that would otherwise cause nonspecific hybridization. DNAs from several mammalian species are commercially available, however, none currently available plants best our knowledge. We have developed a simple 1-day procedure generate without use specialized equipment.
