摘要: Osteosarcoma is the most frequent primary high grade bone tumor, usually occurring in adolescents and children. The aim of present study was to investigate parameters turnover as urinary excretion pyridinoline (Pyr), deoxypyridinoline (D-Pyr), serum osteocalcin (OC), total alkaline phosphatase (AP) patients with osteosarcoma. Thirty-five aged 7–22 (median age 14) high-grade osteosarcoma extremity entered study. A control population age- sex-matched healthy individuals studied. Urinary Pyr, D-Pyr measured on fasting urine specimens, corrected for creatine (Ucr), expressed pM/µM UCr. At same time collection, blood samples were taken measurement AP OC. In (74.5 ± 41) significantly higher (P = 0.005) than controls (38.2 22.5). level OC lower < 0.001) controls. Moreover, 0.03) (85.3 43) found who relapsed after surgical removal tumor chemotherapeutic treatment compared those (58.1 22) remained continuously free disease. showed significant abnormalities pyridinium crosslinks relation between biological aggressiveness observed requires further investigation.
