摘要: background: The present study was designed to investigate the possible association between infertility of male uremic patients and expression cystic fibrosis transmembrane conductance regulator (CFTR) protein in their sperm. methods: Semen collected analyzed. Serum levels FSH, LH testosterone were measured by radioimmunoassay. sperm CFTR expressions 21 15 renal transplant compared with those 32 healthy 33 infertile men. results: Only 9+ 5.9% from expressed CFTR, significantly less than (29+ 14.3%, P , 0.001), men (42+ 20.7%, 0.001) (51+ 20.5%, 0.001). Furthermore, fewer (P 0.05) 0.01). higher all other groups, whereas FSH only There no significant difference level among four categories. conclusions: Sperm is depressed but recovers some degree after along improvement fertility, indicating a ‘reversible’ change. These results suggest that rate correlated decline patients’ may be considered as potential marker assess fertility patients.
