摘要: Abstract In spite of ongoing speculation, there has been no evidence that adhesion receptors are expressed on the cells mammalian embryos. this report, we provide first proof a variety such (B1-, B2- and B3-integrins selectin) indeed essentially all primordia marmoset embryos at early organogenesis (developmental stages 11 to 13, or even earlier). Treatment with low doses (20 as little 1 mg/kg body weight) highly teratogenic derivative (EM 12) thalidomide, most notorious human teratogen, triggers dramatic statistically significant down-regulation several surface (e.g. CD11a/CD18, CD49d/CD29, CD61, etc.) limb bud some other during primate (marmoset, Callithrix jacchus ). Some these almost disappear, they lower epitope density in exposed These down-regulations may be expected alter cell-cell- cell-extracellular matrix interactions suggested long-sought primary mechanism action thalidomide-type substances.
