摘要: Most vascular plants acquire phosphate from their environment either directly, via the roots, or indirectly, a symbiotic interaction with arbuscular mycorrhizal (AM) fungi. The symbiosis develops in plant roots where fungi colonize cortex of root to obtain carbon host, while assisting acquisition and other mineral nutrients soil solution. As first step toward understanding molecular basis utilization, we have cloned characterized transporter genes AM Glomus versiforme intraradices, host plant, Medicago truncatula. Expression analyses localization studies indicate that each these transporters has role uptake
