摘要: The effect of dehydroepiandrosterone sulfate (DHEAS) administered i.p. on the release acetylcholine (ACh) from hippocampus anesthetized rats was examined using in vivo microdialysis. DHEAS significantly increased ACh above pre-treatment levels for all doses tested. administration 100 mg/kg enhanced greater than 4-fold when compared to saline-treated group 80 min following drug administration. This study is first demonstrate that neurosteroid DHEAS, a negative allosteric modulator GABAA receptor, can enhance neurons hippocampus.
