摘要: Nowadays, considerable attention has been paid to the activity-based approach for transportation planning and forecasting by both researchers practitioners. However, one of practical limitations applying most currently available models is their computation time, especially when large amount population detailed geographical unit level are taken into account. In this research, we investigated possibility restraining size study area in order reduce time an model, as it often case that only a small territory rather than whole region focus specific study. By introducing accuracy proposed research iteration determine minimum required target territory. application, surrounding each 327 municipalities Flanders, Belgium, with regard two different transport modes, is, car driver public transport. Afterwards, validation analysis were conducted. All experiments carried out using FEATHERS, microsimulation modeling framework implemented Flanders Belgium.
