摘要: The nucleolus is the most prominent structure in nucleus, and clearly distinguished from other nuclear substructures (Scheer Hock 1999; Olson et al. 2000; Spector 2003). Since 1960s, it has been generally thought to be site of ribosome biogenesis. Inner nucleolar DNA sequences encode 18S, 5.8S 28S ribosomal RNAs nucleolus, many proteins nascent ribosomes are detected (Fatica Tollervey 2002; Raska In metabolically active animal plant somatic cells yeast, harbors tens hundreds genes, which account for roughly one half total cellular RNA production, while no types genes have identified within it.
