摘要: Tumor growth depends on 2 distinctive pathways: cell proliferation and apoptosis. The p53 pathway is an important regulator of the cycle as it triggers arrest or leads to apoptosis in response cellular stress therefore commonly targeted during tumorigenesis. Apoptosis also controlled by Bcl-2 family, which includes proapoptotic antiapoptotic proteins. aim this study was investigate expression proteins that are involved different types soft tissue sarcomas correlate these with histologic grade sarcoma cases. One hundred fifty-two cases were analyzed. consisted 54 low-grade, 40 intermediate-grade, 58 high-grade sarcomas. Immunohistochemical stains for p21(WAF1/CIP1), p53, Mdm2, Bcl-2, Bax carried out microarrays. Nuclear reactivity detected 49 (32.2%). Overexpression Mdm2 found 18 (11.8%) p21(WAF1/CIP1) immunostaining seen 28 tumors (18.4%). correlated tumor (low grade, 5.6% 3.7%; intermediate 22.5% 20%; high 63.8% 31%, respectively). Expression protein a common finding It 141 (92.8%). identified 59 (38.8%) more prevalent 25.9%; 32.5%; 55.2%). concluded alterations genes regulate events closely associated tumor, may be used prognostic markers.
