摘要: Aggressive fibromatosis (AF), also known as desmoid tumor is a monoclonal fibroblastic proliferation in collagen matrix that arises musculoaponeurotic structures. Though considered benign, they are locally invasive and their propensity for recurrence after conservative surgery well documented. Addition of postoperative adjuvant radiotherapy produces higher local control rates, although rates still high patients with positive margins. The antineoplastic activity vitamin D has been demonstrated both vitro vivo models several cancers. proposed mechanisms include inhibition associated cell cycle arrest, induction apoptosis reduction invasiveness angiogenesis. It shown negative impact on homeostasis by inhibiting the formation increasing its degradation. Since an effect synthesis deposition, it 1,25-dihydroxy D3 can be right therapeutic option management tumors.
