摘要: Abstract Background: Cutaneous exposure to UVB radiation impairs the induction of contact hypersensitivity (CHS). Variable results have been found among studies examining use sunscreens prevent UV-induced immunosuppression. Objective: Our purpose was determine whether solar-simulated human skin resulted in an impairment CHS responses and preapplication intermediate sun protection factor (SPF) sunscreen could this locally Methods: Irritant dinitrochlorobenzene (DNCB) were randomly assessed 160 volunteers with or without UV prior application SPF 15 high UVA protection. DNCB sensitization performed 3 days after acute irradiation corresponding minimal erythema doses. Results: After exposure, percentage positive dropped from 95% 50% ( p = 0.003). Prior formulation did not modify (90%) maintained immunization rate at 85% exposed UV. Conclusion: A localized sunburn can impair afferent arm reactions humans. The adequately protects suppression that occurs exposure. (J Am Acad Dermatol 1997;37:187-94.)
