Data Perinatal Health Care Surveillance System 12 cities counties were analyzed for birth weight, LGA 2005. A total 594, 472 singleton live included. conducted multiple logistic regression analyses relate these changes pregnancy characteristics. rose 6.00% 8.49% 2000 then levelled off 7.83% Similar observed mean weight. incidence continuously 13.72% 18.08% 2000, remained relatively stable 2002 There was a decrease gestational age significant increase frequency prelabor caesarean delivery In an adjusted multivariable model, increasing net weight gain, age, height education. But they didn't fully explain increase. 2002-2005 declined after China, mainly related gain. has recent years partly due use earlier moderation
