摘要: This study was designed to examine longitudinal change in nonverbal cognitive abilities across adolescence for 20 males with Down syndrome (DS). We used hierarchical linear modeling the rate of performance on subtests Leiter-R Brief IQ four annual time points and determine relation between maternal level performance. Results indicated no significant (standard scores) age sample, suggesting stability during individuals DS, although several participants performed at floor standard scores Leiter-R, limiting interpretation. Growth scores, however, provide a metric absolute ability level, allow examination all participants, minimize effects. from analysis growth gain levels (growth score values) over adolescents varied by subdomain. Maternal did not explain variability or that our sample DS.
