摘要: Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) is an independent risk factor to develop lung cancer but there are no different functional clusters of biomarkers between patients with non-small cell (NSCLC) or without COPD. To analyse protein expression, in order find out whether samples resected NSCLC from COPD present a molecular expression. Observational, cohort, concurrent study sampling since treatment initial stages (pIA-pIIB) treated surgically our hospital October 1993 and September 1997. The consisted the elaboration tissue arrays tumor, using immunohistochemistry as method. Univariate analysis logistic regression were performed determine markers that showed differential expression We studied thirty-two proteins 146 patients. 30% had one marker be overexpressed five underexpressed. Multivariate identified membranous s-Catenin biomarker, which displayed underexpression, Odds Ratio (95% Confidence Interval) 0.26 (0.07-1.01). A significant lowest s-catenin was detected
