摘要: Copper ions switch the oxidation of methane by soluble monooxygenase to particulate in Methylococcus capsulatus (Bath). Toward understanding change cellular metabolism related this transcriptional and metabolic switch, we have undertaken genomic sequencing quantitative comparative analysis proteome M. (Bath) grown under different copper-to-biomass ratios cleavable isotope-coded affinity tag technology. Of 682 proteins identified, expressions 60 were stimulated at least 2-fold copper ions; 68 down-regulated or more. The overexpressed included carbohydrate enzymes, while suppressed mainly responsible for signaling processes, indicating a role expression genes associated with organism downstream oxidation. study has also provided complete map C1 pathways methanotroph clarified interrelationships between them.
