摘要: In this study, the authors examined findings and implications of research on trust in leadership that has been conducted during past 4 decades. First, study provides estimates primary relationships between key outcomes, antecedents, correlates (k = 106). Second, explores how specifying construct with alternative referents (direct leaders vs. organizational leadership) definitions (types trust) results systematically different outcomes antecedents. Direct (e.g., supervisors) appear to be a particularly important referent trust. Last, theoretical framework is offered provide parsimony expansive literature clarify perspectives its operation.
