摘要: Abstract A quantitative and reproducible technique for establishing primary surface cultures from normal diseased human muscle is described. Successful were prepared both fresh that stored up to 96 hr at 4 °C. The CPK activity of the cells ranged between 0.5–3.0 μmoles creatine per min mg protein 30 °C, thus indicating a high degree differentiation. Spontaneous contractions observed in out 22 established. Nerve not required achieve this level differentiated function. No gross differences plating efficiency, rate myotube formation or specific found cultured so far. However, 5–10-fold higher cell yield was obtained muscles patients with an inflammatory myopathy. advantages carrying comparative studies on dystrophic are discussed.
