摘要: Empirical assessments of transgene inheritance and phenotypic expression will assist in the development efficient breeding strategies for transgenic germplasm, guide research into improvement transformation techniques. The a barley yellow dwarf virus (BYDV) coat protein gene bar, bar as measured by resistance to glufosinate-ammonium damage, was studied T 1 3 generations (Hordeum vulgare L.) populations derived from seven independent events. Most deviated Mendelian patterns, several showed evidence silencing. To further study behavior, lines were crossed diverse set nontransgenic cultivars produce single cross- backcross-derived populations. In these populations, generally fit expectations single, dominant loci. Quantitative measurements heritable variability both among within individual events, but no could be attributed different genetic backgrounds parents. It is concluded that, although parents such can used program, systems that result greater stability behavior are desirable.
