摘要: Cocoa flavan-3-ols have been shown to exert a positive influence on obesity-related metabolic risk factors. This study evaluated the effects of cocoa powder (Co), extract (Co-Ex) and its main flavanols (Epi, Cat PB2) expression genes involved in WAT lipid metabolism rat model hypercaloric diet-induced obesity. Co, Co-Ex Epi are associated with adipogenesis, β-oxidation energy expenditure linked upregulating peroxisome-proliferator-activated receptor γ (PPARγ), PPARα, PPARγ coactivator 1α (PGC1α), sirtuin 1 (SIRT1) uncoupling protein (UCP1). Additionally, these treatments decreases body weight gain total fat mass insulin resistance, reduced lipogenesis, inflammation related downregulating acetyl-CoA carboxylase gene expression, decreasing TNF-α increasing ApN concentrations WAT. may be considered potential agents for treatment disorders.
