摘要: In recent ecotoxicological research, there is an increasing concern about alkylphenolic industrial chemicals, such as nonylphenol (NP), because of their estrogenic properties. Data on the general fish toxicity these wide spread aquatic pollutants are scarce. order to evaluate sublethal toxic effects environmentally relevant concentrations NP, juvenile Common carp (Cyprinus carpio) were exposed NP ranging from 1 15 μg NP/l over a 70-day period. Classical toxicological endpoints, various haematological parameters and histopathological alterations investigated. comprehensive protocol, besides NP-induced also due treatment with synthetic estrogen ethinylestradiol (EE2) evaluated. After both NP-exposure well EE2-treatment, predominant finding was severe anaemia. Histopathological in kidney, liver spleen occurred exclusively after EE2, whereas NP-exposed did not show any tissue lesions. Depending parameter examined, NOEC between 5 could be established. From present findings, it assumed, that under field conditions, NP-induced, effects, might outbalance relatively weak this compound possibly disturb ecologically processes reproduction.
