摘要: Abstract The objective of this paper is to gain a clearer understanding the strategic relationship between series studies addressing sustainability agenda. analysis uses qualitative and quantitative data derived from two studies: regional (macro) integrated transport land-use model micro-analysis ten selected neighbourhoods, both which have taken place in North East England. interview with local authorities demonstrated that, despite agenda being high on their list, there are issues embracing social, economic environmental aspects equal manner, relating transport. macro-analysis shows that different scenarios influence only small part travel behaviour. main argument was changes land-uses provision relatively marginal, compared existing development. micro-study, other hand, it attitudes citizens, rather than neighbourhood characteristics, play bigger role influencing patterns car travel, thus suggesting future policy work may impact
