摘要: Traditional arthroscopic examination is subjective and poorly reproducible. Recently, we introduced an ultrasound method for quantitative diagnostics of cartilage lesions. Here describe our investigation the feasibility arthroscopy simultaneous measurements articular subchondral bone. Human osteochondral samples (n= 13) were imaged using a clinical 9-MHz system. Ultrasound reflection coefficients (R, IRC), roughness index (URI) apparent integrated backscattering coefficient (AIB) determined both tissues. Mechanical testing, histologic analyses micro-scale computed tomography imaging reference methods. arthroscopies conducted on two patients.
