(A) ABSTRACT IN ENGLISH: There is evidence for young drivers to be a high-risk crash group. However, it unclear if there higher driving risk also older (70 plus). Existing data support the disproportionate of people involved severe and fatal crashes. In Swiss dataset from 2010 effects different involvement on rate age groups differences between were investigated while controlling frailty. The was controlled by demographic variables. results show no significant influence group based rate. A significantly found drivers, with highest than 75 years. These suggest that mandatory instrument younger (driver licence probation) seems more efficient (medical assessment).
