摘要: Abstract Objectives The voice in childhood is a communication tool and form of emotional expression. It estimated that 6 to 23% children may have disorders. There test, the Pediatric Voice Handicap Index (P-VHI), validated English assess specific impact on quality life with speech pathology. Material methods We performed cross-sectional including patients between 4 15 years age. P-VHI was translated into this translation reviewed modified by three specialists Otorhinolaryngology. were two groups, who had (n = 44) control group without alterations (n = 44). questionnaire always answered parents. Results Significant differences found overall score different subscales (p   0.05). Conclusions has good internal consistency. reliable test evaluates pediatric population, easy application for daily clinical practice.
