摘要: The prevalence of known cases diabetes was ascertained from patient records in an 11-county area Wisconsin July 1979 to June 1980. the noninstitutionalized population found be 1%. Prevalence rates rose 0.5 per 1000 first decade life 44.7 eighth decade. highest were nursing home population. Males had higher age-adjusted than females. No difference between persons living metropolitan or nonmetropolitan counties. Determination by these methods is a rapid and inexpensive means ascertainment diabetes.
