摘要: Familial hypercholesterolaemia (FH) is a co-dominantly inherited disorder that causes marked elevation in plasma cholesterol and premature coronary heart disease. There are at least 45,000 people with FH Australia New Zealand, but most remain undiagnosed undertreated. To bridge this gap prevention the Australasia Network has developed model of care for FH. We present executive summary, commentary contrasting recommendations other international guidelines highlighting role cardiologist.
