摘要: The overexpression of epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR) in human astrocytic tumours is associated with the oncogenesis these tumours. Ongoing research on diagnostic, prognostic, and therapeutic aspects this highly dependent development reliable techniques for detection EGFR tumour tissue. aim study was to assess expression high-grade astrocytomas by means immunohistochemistry formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded sections compare findings results our previous frozen from tumours, which we found about 60% positivity (10). Four anaplastic 19 glioblastomas were included study. Two different antibodies used, monoclonal antibody E30 reactive against extracellular domain polyclonal Ab-4 directed its cytoplasmic domain. With E30, 3 out 4 (75%) 12 (63%) express whereas demonstrated positive immunoreactivity most (18/19 all astrocytomas). In conclusion, represents a convenient technique tissue astrocytomas, that comparable frozen- paraffin
