摘要: Plant species have long been regarded as possessing the principal ingredients used in widely disseminated ethnomedical practices. Different surveys showed that medicinal plant by inhabitants of Jordan for traditional treatment diabetes are inadequately screened their therapeutic/preventive potential and phytochemical findings. In this review, herbal medicine pursued indigenously with its methods preparation active constituents listed. Studies random screening selective antidiabetic bioactivity plausible mechanisms action local species, domesticated greens, or wild plants briefly discussed. Recommended future directives incurring design conduct comprehensive trials pointed out to validate usefulness these bioactive secondary metabolites either alone combination existing conventional therapies.
