摘要: Introduction: Basal cell carcinoma (BCC) is the most common malignant neoplasm in skin and considered to have a low degree of malignancy. BCC invasive but rarely metastatic originates hair follicle-derived cells or interfollicular zones epidermis. Trichoblastoma (TB) an infrequent benign that differentiates toward follicular germinative cells. Both these cutaneous lesions comprise nests basaloid cells, because differential diagnosis hard obtain between them histologically due their similarity, correct must be established. Materials Methods: The sample size this descriptive study consisted 20 cases: 10 paraffin-embedded tissues were diagnosed with solid basal differentiation TB tissues. all samples was confirmed morphologically hematoxylin eosin. One-micron-thick sections cut from each analyzed semiquantitatively by immunohistochemistry (IHC). Differences staining Chi-square test. Results: Two cases positive for Ki-67 versus samples. Cytokeratins 6 expressed 1 Staining clone 34BE12 generated signals at various intensities. Conclusion: TBs BCCs made histologically, treatment radical can compromise aesthetics function, even experienced pathologists. Because morphological difficult, histopathology results supported IHC panel.
